Route 1 Pro is, at heart, a button bar that sits on the side of your screen (screenshot), and replaces (or supplements) the standard Windows interface (i.e. the Start Menu, the desktop, and those tiny toolbars). In addition to providing quick, easy access to your programs and files, there are many features that will soon make Route 1 Pro indispensable on your desktop.

By providing access to applications, documents, and information at the single touch of a button, Route 1 Pro can make your computer easier to use and your work more productive. Included in the package is a powerful scripting language, complete with full documentation, allowing you to consolidate tedious operations into a single click. The EventWatch scheduler is also integrated into the system, and can do everything from run complex scripts at pre-determined times, to display birthday reminders when you turn on your computer. Nested SubMenus allow you to organize your programs and documents for quick access. After using Route 1 Pro, you'll never want to go back to plain old Windows again.

Since 1991, Route 1 has provided an alternative interface to the interface-deficient design of Microsoft Windows 3.x, and now the latest release of Route 1 Pro does the same for all modern versions of Microsoft Windows, including Windows XP. You can download this software and try it for yourself.

Note: If you already have Route 1 Pro 3.1.100 or later, choose Update Only. Otherwise, choose Full Install.

Note that the software is identical for each of the operating systems listed above. However, depending on your operating system, we've left out certain shared components you should already have on your system, which will result in a smaller -- and quicker -- download.
